The effects of colour on your mood?

Colour has been shown to have an effect on your mood, therefore the colours I use in my animation can be used to affect the mood of the viewer and also show the mood of my character without having him saying or showing any emotion. My plan is to start in black and white because white does not inspire emotion but rather clears you of emotion giving you an emotional indifference while the black will be used to show a dark emotional desert in the character giving the view / the impression of sadness of distress.

As the story progresses I will slowly add colours to the background to show the emotions slowly returning to my character.
